Dog Helps Boy Come Out of Autism - A Friend Like Henry

The title is a bit inaccurate actually, because Henry helps Dale cope with his autism but Henry the dog doesn't cure Dale's autism.

This you tube segment is a  moving true story of a Golden Retriever named Henry who was adopted into a family with a severely Autistic boy named Dale. The Autism was so severe, Dale stopped speaking to his parents and his tantrums worsened. Dale's breakthrough came through the help and unconditional love of Henry the Lab.

I copied this idea of using a voice for Indie and amazingly this works with Brandon also however unlike Dale, Brandon has not regained his speech. I love how it is the dog who chooses the child. Indie chose Brandon! Go figure!
